Our Approach


We strive to be a model for the future of collective thinking and action. Our mission is to halt the devastation of and preserve biodiversity.

Our core focus is to build and activate a value-aligned community and develop an improved approach to achieving a symbiotic future. While having fun.

Together with our sister organization, Future Quest, we are addressing the huge gaps that need to be filled to boldly envision, build, and celebrate the future.

After some initial community-led successes, from launching the first prototype for a functioning nation-level bioeconomy in Suriname (Bio.tara) to accelerating moonshot initiatives to build a more just, kind, and equitable society (Galaxy Labs), to a project raising over $200M in commitments to help instill democracy in the US (One for Democracy), and more; we formed Future Quest as an answer to how we might make this impact exponential.

Future Quest

A community-based accelerator for high-impact climate projects.

First off, FQ led a grant pool for innovative climate projects leveraging web3 with partners such as Polygon, Celo, Gitcoin, Boba Network and more. Out of 330 qualified applications we selected 17 projects that collectively are live in 7 key regions. Projects range from a flexible web3 framework that enables communities to tokenize natural assets (Kolektivo) to Digital Gaia's scalable decentralized protocol and technology infrastructure for dTwins (decentralized digital twins) as a public good, an ocean regeneration project (New Atlantis) that provides Marine Protected Areas "MPAs" with a viable business model by making marine biodiversity (and life-driven blue carbon) an investable asset class global scale, and more.

Together, we have convened other communities, such as the BMW Foundation and UP Game, to focus on inspiring a responsible future and leadership.

Initiative:
GLOBAL CORALITION

Scaled micro-fragmentation coral farms and restoration projects in the Dominican Republic. Launched land-based farms to grow resilient corals while creating new livelihood opportunities and food security for generations to come.

MASK FORCE

Raised over $3,000,000 across platforms and developed a community-led supply chain to distribute nearly one million PPE articles for medical workers on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic.

MOVHERS PLATFORM

Establish a global network of partners and impact investors to launch the MOVHERS platform, supporting a framework for action to empower women leadership and raise women's voices as a way to break the cycle of poverty.

WHEN WE BAND TOGETHER

Enabled education courses for refugee women and children to empower their futures, by helping to raise funds and garner contributions from the community.

DBT / ONE FOR DEMOCRACY

A project born within our community and went on to raise over $200M in commitments to help instill democracy in the US, by supporting black-led organizations in swing states.

FH CARBON COALITION (WAGMI)

Develop a coalition and subsequent immediate actions to combat climate change and decarbonize our planet.

A pilot coalition of NGO foundations, elected officials, and volunteers joining hands together to provide relief from Covid-19 in Cabarete, Susua and other regions of Dominican Republic. A repeatable model to empower communities in crisis.
